Designing the flowers for this wedding was so much fun for me! I have known both the bride & groom for over 15 years, which at first made me feel really old but then I just felt really blessed to be a part of their special day! I love seeing how God brings two people together in His perfect timing. Melinda was a daring bride to use all these gorgeous bold colors (which I encouraged, of course!) and seeing it all come together was just breathtaking! The lush coral, eggplant, chartreuse & yellow flowers mixed with the rich textures of the dahlias, succulents & pods was perfect for a summer wedding. Melinda & Andrew are such an adorable couple, which is captured in these beautiful photos by Hope Helms Photography on the campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Kara was such a joy to work with! With hydrangeas being her favorite flower, the choice was easy for her bouquets and centerpieces. We incorporated some classic pottery vases for the tables at the Historic Houston Heights Fire Station to complete her simple & sophisticated style. She gave me the freedom to create her bouquet with whatever I thought would look great (see why I love her! ) so of course we designed with hydrangea, then some roses and freesia for texture. The picasso calla lilies added just a touch of eggplant to her ivory bouquet, which pulled in the color of her fabulous bridesmaid dresses!

I enjoyed working with Alyse of Alyse French Photography, she is a wonderful photographer!

Boots + feathers + bling = the perfect ingredients for a Texas Hill Country wedding!

I will never get tired of using bright, fun colors for a spring wedding & I love the fresh ideas this bride used to spice it up! Orange, pink, yellow & green make a beautiful splash of color against these chocolate brown dresses. Notice the attention to detail with the way the bridesmaids shoes match their bouquets! Love!

Green – that’s her favorite color! Kim always knew she wanted green flowers at her wedding so color was the easy choice, as for what flower to use, that was the fun part! We incorporated mini green hydrangea, green cymbidium orchids, green roses, white freesia, white hydrangea & champagne roses to design a timeless look with a modern twist for the bouquets. The centerpieces also include some white cherry blossom branches in a glass vase for a clean look. Check out the beautiful cake by Miriam Harper with Trio Cafe. I so enjoyed working with Jennifer designing her wedding flowers! She came to me with her heart set on purple….and anything with bling! She incorporated the damask pattern throughout with details on the invitation, cake & ribbon on the bouquets. It was so classy & sophisticated~ just like her! With the unpredictable weather in May, we were planning on outdoor ceremony but moved it inside at the last minute, which turned out beautifully! We created a backdrop of fabric, hanging crystals & suspended purple orchids. It was truly breathtaking! It’s always great working with the talented team at Bella Domani Events. The beautiful venue was The Starlight Room with photography by Josh Rodriguez.
